Remember LG phones? Where LG fans can go next
When this site launched in 2020, LG had its own section here. A year later, in 2021, LG announced it was leaving the smartphone business altogether. Five years on, many former LG owners are still looking for a phone that feels like home.
What made LG phones special
- Wide-angle cameras before they were common.
- Audio: headphone jacks and high-quality DACs on the V and G series.
- Bold experiments such as the swivelling LG Wing and dual-screen cases.

Still using an LG?
LG phones no longer receive security updates. If yours still works, keep it for light use, but avoid banking and sensitive apps on it and plan your move to a supported phone.
